Wankers at the Dyke March

Abigail Ottoman: It takes a special kind of person to protest the dyke march.

Sloan Lesbowitz: The dyke march isn't nearly as well known as the pride march.

AO: As we saw, it was a small march!  And the people who protested were two grubby men who would never get any attention from the women in the dyke march- the kind of women who would never talk to them under ordinary circumstances, who are uninterested in them.

SL: But on this one special day, they get all kinds of attention and interaction with a large number of women who are scantily clad.  So many women yell at them!

AO: By thinking it is a parade of heathens, they get to watch a march of half-naked women AND feel all religious at the same time.

SL: Just look at this guy.  He must look forward to this all year!  These guys are as much wankers as the eager photographers, but no one yells at the photographers, even that little old dude who cut into the march just to take a picture of somebody in a bikini top.

AO: I didn't think they were the same.  The religious guys are more perverted because they have to be angry, they can't just get turned on by seeing women.  The photographers are there to celebrate us, even if they aren't welcome.

SL: Either way, it is a very important day of the year for them.  I wonder if they mark their calendars in advance and look forward to it.  I wonder if the photographers or the zealots have wives, and if their wives know what they do the last Saturday in June.
